With regard to shopping Crawley has become the regional centre, with most of the major high street stores located here. In 1992 the County Mall indoor shopping centre opened, providing an additional 42 000 sq m of shopping space, as well as an extensive food court. Excellent parking facilities are located nearby, in and around the town centre.

leisure and entertainment
The town boasts an excellent range of leisure and entertainment facilities. These include a cinema complex, ten-pin bowling, sports centres & fitness clubs as well as the Hawth theatre, one of the South’s liveliest arts venues. For those keen on outside activities, however, there are watersports (including windsurfing, canoeing and sailing), fishing, a golf centre and 20 different playing fields catering for a wide variety of sports. In short, there is something for everyone to do. Of course, to unwind in the evening there are a range of pubs, clubs and restaurants to enjoy.

travelling to and from crawley
by road
Crawley can be accessed from the M23 motorway at junctions 10 and 11. Access to Dover and the Channel Tunnel takes about 80 minutes.
by rail
London (Victoria) is around 45 minutes away, with Brighton about 40 minutes.
by air
Gatwick airport is situated to the North of the main town and is a short taxi ride or train journey away. In addition, the new Fastway bus service operates between Gatwick & Crawley 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
